- High thermal conductivity CDA alloy 122 copper tubing is used to transfer wasted heat from air conditioners to produce hot water. Under tests conducted by Applied Research Laboratories in accordance with ARI Standard 470-80 the net superheat recovery was 78.7%.
- The Eco–Aqua® housing will withstand up to 1500 lbs of pressure. The approximate dimensions are 25″ (635 mm) octagonal shape and 3″ (76.2 mm) in height. The unit weighs approximately 35 lbs (15.88 kgs).
- The tempering valve will reduce the hot water to approximately 100-130° F, if necessary.
- The copper water tubing is ¾” nominal type L made to ASTM Standard B88 and the refrigeration tubing is 1/2″od x .032″ wall to ASTM Standard B280 and both are NSF 61 Compliant.
